Without urgent solutions, the city's economic growth and attractiveness could be at risk.
The goal of Mainport Investments is to find a solution to the housing issues in Brainport Eindhoven. Mainport aims to achieve this through the transformation of (vacant) office buildings into residential units in the form of apartments and studios, as well as the construction of new homes. Due to the growth of chip manufacturer ASML, it is estimated that 60,000 new jobs will be created within a timeframe of 5 to 10 years. There is a need for 100,000 additional homes in the Brainport region.
