The former Philips building SWA, also known as the Glass Building, is a distinctive property with a rich history. The very first light bulbs were manufactured here. By mid-2025, this iconic building will be transformed into 177 independent residential units, with space for work on the ground floor. The plan includes a mix of apartments ranging from 30 to 75m², and a commercial base will be created on the ground floor.

Evert van Engelen is an experienced entrepreneur and strategic leader with extensive expertise in organizational development and management. With a strong background in building and mentoring management teams, he excels in connecting people and bridging businesses. His entrepreneurial approach focuses on growth and innovation within the Brainport Eindhoven Region.
As a founder and shareholder of several companies, he actively contributes to talent development and technological advancement, including:

Chief Financial Officer
Marco has over 30 years of experience in the real estate sector. His focus is on financial management and administration within Interesting Vastgoed and its associated subsidiaries. Marco has been working (again) at Interesting Vastgoed as Chief Financial Officer since 2023.
Development Manager
As Development Manager at Mainport Investments, Hein is responsible for delivering forward-looking and innovative projects. With several years of experience as a project developer, he possesses in-depth knowledge of the field. Hein is a critical thinker who puts the end user at the center of the process. Thanks to his sharp commercial insight, he ensures that projects are both functional and financially attractive. His fresh perspective, enthusiasm, and broad experience make him a valuable asset in every phase of the development process.
Real Estate Visionary
Toon de Koning has made his mark through the impressive redevelopment of the Strijp-S district in Eindhoven. He transformed this area from an outdated Philips company site into a vibrant and creative neighborhood filled with residential buildings, comprising both conversions and new constructions.
The successful transformation of this site, which utilizes innovative designs and strategic planning, serves as our guiding principle for all future projects. Toon de Koning has successfully brought numerous real estate projects to market with his former development company, Interesting Vastgoed.
Management Team
Delphy grew up in the world of construction and real estate. After a career as an entrepreneur, she joined Interesting Vastgoed in 2015. Delphy is the commercial face in the Eindhoven region and at Strijp-S. Additionally, Delphy is responsible for management, relationship management, and finance.
